Guidance for teachers

‘A town unearthed’  has now finished.  It ended in  March 2013. The work of the project has been centred on the excavation of the Roman Villa on the East Cliff of Folkestone and the history of the town and surrounding area before 1500.

We hope the learning resources produced during this project which include activity sheets and ‘ARK’ kits will continue to be of use to many local schools.

Any enquiries should be directed to the Canterbury Archaeological Trust Education Officer, Marion Green by email at marion.green@canterburytrust.co.uk
