The Mysterious Mr Montague Browne-Anderson

Local historian Eamonn Rooney will be giving a talk on his research into Mr Montague Browne Anderson first Director of Folkestone Museum (1918-1923). Browne Anderson excavated on the East Cliff before S.E. Winbolt and made significant changes to the Muesum and its collection, for some reason though his name is largely forgotten. Eamonn will be discussing the life and work of this extraordinary character and how he discovered his story in the Museum archives.
